New Features in This Fix Pack
=============================
New parameters in KFXConverter.ini
------------------------------------
Following parameters are added to the kfxconverter.ini file:

RemoveRedundantObjects - If set to true, removes the redundant nested and empty canvases. 
Additionally, neighboring glyphs with similar formatting are concatenated. Default: false

FitTablesToWindow - If set to true, sets the preferred width for the tables to 100%. 
Default: false

Split images into multiple batches using patch code
---------------------------------------------------
Kofax Import Connector can import images and split them into multiple batches by detecting 
the patch code.

1501031 - "Import Concatenated PDF only" fails with simple messages if "Skip converting" 
          and "Skip Import" is configured.

Installation Instructions
=========================
To install this fix pack, do the following:

1. Copy the content of the zip file to a local or network drive 
   and extract the files.

2. On the computer(s) where Message Connector is installed, run 
   MC-9.2.4.2480.bat and follow the on-screen instructions. This will 
   update all the instances of Message Connector.
  
   Note: To update single instance or multiple instances of 
   ----- Message Connector on a cluster node, start the Command Prompt 
         and navigate to the directory containing the update, and then
         execute the following command:
  
   Instance 1: msiexec /update MC-9.2.4.2480.msp KOFAXPRODUCTVERSION=2.8.0.4.2480 /qb /l*vx MC-2.8.0.4.2480-Inst1.log /n {A41323BA-AFD2-433D-8B0C-9A3052CBB674}
   Instance 2: msiexec /update MC-9.2.4.2480.msp KOFAXPRODUCTVERSION=2.8.0.4.2480 /qb /l*vx MC-2.8.0.4.2480-Inst2.log /n {5B064F40-F2D8-4AB0-A46D-59CC9895218C}

3. On the computers where KC Plug-In is installed:
   a) Close Kofax Capture Administration.
   b) Run KCPlugin-9.2.4.2480.bat and follow the on-screen instructions.

4. Verify that the KC Plug-In and the Message Connector services are running.

5. Open the KFXConverter.ini in a text editor. Default path of this file for first instance of 
   Message Connector: 
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\KIC-ED\MC\bin\KFXConverter

6. Add the following to the [EML2PDF], [HTML2PDF] and [MHT2PF] sections:

    RemoveRedundantObjects=false
    FitTablesToWindow=false


Uninstallation Instructions
===========================
Message Connector
-----------------
1. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates. 
2. Select MC fix pack MC-9.2.4.2480.
3. Click Uninstall.

KC Plug-In
----------
You cannot uninstall the fix pack for KC Plug-In. You must uninstall Kofax
Import Connector and install it again, without the fix pack.
